SKIS DESIGNED FOR TELEMARK
After many years trying on different skis for telemarking, we never found THE telemark ski. A lot can be used for this practice, but their conception is always made for alpine skiing or ski touring. That is why we choose to create our own skis, which are created especially for telemarking.
Our first issue was:
What skis are telemark skiers looking for?
For a maximum versatility, we could only find one ski: the “all-mountain”. With 90 mm under the feet, it’s the perfect compromise. It is thin enough for carving and having fun on ski tracks while staying performant for the powder days and trafficked snow. That is how our first ski was born... The Daggie.
After creating a versatile telemark ski, we decided to complete our range to be able to suit the greatest number of practices: touring, freetouring, freeride or ski track.
Today, the TKS range is composed of 5 skis. Each ski has a construction designed for a specific telemark practice.
OUR AMBASSADORS
Our 3 ambassadors all have different profiles and bring us their point of view for us to improve the skis to their best.
- Mika, with his freerider and free touring point of view, likes a nervous and larger ski, but still enjoys to have some 100% track/carving or freestyle.
- Thobias, with his hinking point of view, ascends almost 30,000m in total each year, in telemark only. He went by all kinds of binding and saw the light skis' evolution these last years.
- Daggie, with his ski resort point of view, likes groomed paths as much as he likes to go off tracks. That is why we called our ski the 'all mountain' Daggie. This is for us the ultimate polyvalent telemark ski.
- Laly, competition profile, is part of the France A telemark team, passionate about the world of skiing since his childhood. She discovered telemark in 2015 after an initiation and 2 years later she ended up champion of France U21 in Classic in Vaujany!
